Duet on a rickshaw..,

We were into the bylanes of Lajpat nagar..it was a sunny sultry afternoon.. Me with a mission to be accomplished on my determined mind.. (Read fishing for a matching dupatta for my suit and jodhpuris for my patiala salwar..)... And other titbit stuff which might sound trivial to some  but are of   Utmost emergency to the shopping clued mind of any lady leave alone me..😊 so  with this  focussed mind I was moving towards LN market happily in a rickshaw that afternoon..

As the rickshaw turned towards the bylane that goes towards the heart of Lajpat nagar.. I noticed the rickshaw man looked too happy and jovial with our ride and was turning back too often and giving broad smiles to me .... I generously smiled back at him .. Giving a grin back to him .. As he turned back almost umpteenth time to give his " paan ke peek wali" red toothed smile to me..a bit puzzled by his excitement levels.. I  thoughtlessly wondered " why is the fellow getting so excited all over"?  But nevertheless kindly smiled back at him.. As I was nearing the market.. The josh peaked out and I realized that the man was humming " gore gore mukhde pe kala kala chashma'...at the top of his voice and then I looked down at my feet..and found my foot tapping on the floor of the rickshaw:. And hold your breath guys!!!  .. To my horror and utter embarrassment I suddenly realized  absolutely absent mindedly I was humming the same song along with him ..😳😁 my foot was tapping and I was cheerfully riding that rickshaw humming a duet with the rickshaw Wala.. Not realizing for a second what I was doing!!!! It was a complete reflex reaction on my behalf on a catchy tune.. Lyrics .. Mauka .. Audience aur Impact making no difference to me.... Not even registering to absent minded Idiotic me.. !! And behold there is more to come .. Yes guys I actually had my shades on to shield off the sharp Sunrays.... Adding up to his ecstatic levels obviously... I was utterly embarrassed.. Hurriedly paid him and got off the rickshaw.. Leaving him looking back at me crossly.. For suddenly leaving the " duet" unfinished midway..

Ever since " gore gore mukhde pe kala kala chashma" makes me go wooden and red all over whenever and wherever I hear it .. Running to hide my face..😁😨
